GEG delivered a custom designed, bi-lingual communications training programme for Plan International

Requirement: The Plan International regional office in West Africa required a disaster response communication and media relations training for communication and non-communication staff, to be delivered in French and English to support regional and global organisational goals.

GEG Contribution: GEG created and delivered a tailor-made disaster communication training package including simulation and field based exercises as well as on-camera media training.  The course was designed to raise the baseline for communication skills for everyday use–tested through a disaster response simulation–and to raise the awareness and comfort of non-communication staff on the importance of messaging and communication. Involved course design, training, and facilitation and mentoring of staff in West Africa.
