Background: WFP is consistently working to improve the quality of its service delivery and capacity of staff. GEG had previously worked with WFP on a range of projects aimed at increasing staff capacity through training.

Requirement: An interactive E-Learning training course to support WFP logisticians in the development of a service mindset.

GEG Contribution:  GEG project team of expert facilitators and designers (including online training curriculum specialists and actors) led the development of a highly interactive E-Learning curriculum aimed at improving WFP’s logistics services. GEG evaluated the client’s needs, built consensus throughout the product development and built a significant tool that is now utilized by WFP field staff throughout the world. This product trained staff in soft-skill development from an E-Learning platform that could be run from remote field locations. The course was designed to teach soft skills through explanation, theory and practice. Simulation was employed to test and cement the usage of skills. The one-on-one coaching further assisted participants in embracing the skills.
