COMPENSATION: $120,000 - $155,000 depending on experience, plus benefits
Background
Team Credence, through the Humanitarian Assistance Support Contract (HASC), provides operational and administrative support to the State Department enabling United State Government (USG) humanitarian assistance. Global Emergency Group, Inc. (GEG) is the Field Programs Support (FPS) lead for Team Credence and HASC. Founded in 2007, GEG supports Team Credence on the HASC through the provision of operational and monitoring support services to the State Department as it responds to crises around the world. GEG headquarters is near Winchester, Virginia with our global team based all over the world.
The Field Programs Director is responsible for coordinating and managing a range of Field Program Support activities ensuring successful fulfilment of the HASC contract.
Requirements Overview
The Field Programs Director Latin America & Caribbean (LAC) will report to the Field Programs Support Lead, working closely with the Field Operations Lead, the wider FPS team and Team Credence. The position will be responsible for coordinating and managing a range of FPS activities ensuring successful fulfilment of the HASC contract.
Scope of Work
Position Description
The Field Programs Director LAC will be responsible for reviewing tasks and directly managing activities undertaken within FPS, ensuring effective and well-coordinated field operations that deliver on key objectives.
The Field Programs Director will:
Report to the Field Programs Support Lead
Manage and support Field Coordinator(s)
Collaborate with other FPS Field Programs Director(s)
Ensure that FPS services are meeting the highest levels of State Department and Team Credence satisfaction
Complete FPS activities in a timely manner to ensure that Team Credence meets required deliverables
Contribute to human resources processes, including recruitment and hiring
Assist and empower FPS support personnel and monitoring personnel in designated countries
Make continuous adjustments in response to feedback and performance measurements in order to improve FPS performance
Promote the security and safety of support team personnel
Participate in planning for risk management and continuity of operations
Communicate consistently and as appropriate with the FPS team, Team Credence and with State Department regarding administrative, programming and operational tasks and progress
Prepare necessary reports, information and presentations needed for FPS constituencies
Lead quality assurance functions within the FPS LAC team.
Lead and contribute substantively to the FPS Technical Working Group.
Manage GEG country administrative functions at the country levels.
Provide support activities to assist the global GEG network and resources in being optimally ready to support Team Credence and the State Department at any time and for any potential crisis response requirement
Facilitate recommendations, innovations and a culture of learning that continually improves the effectiveness of FPS operations
Contribute on a regular basis to generating new solutions and ideas to the benefit of FPS
Position Qualifications
Education and Experience: Bachelor’s Degree with 8 + years of relevant experience, or Master’s Degree with 6 + years of relevant experience, or High School Diploma with 12 + years of relevant experience
3 + years field based experience
Fluent in Spanish
Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain and maintain a minimum of a USG-issued Secret-level Security Clearance for the duration of employment

Travel Frequency
The Field Programs Director completes periodic and emergency response field missions on an as needed basis. The exact number of field missions will be determined based on evolving FPS activities and requirements.
Working Conditions
This position is classified hybrid telework however the employee will be expected to be online and work normal Washington DC work hours working from Washington DC or other locations as needed. The position will adhere to security management directives and policies as prescribed by the office.
