      <image:caption>Langdon Greenhalgh started his emergency response career in 1999 with the Red Cross and has responded to many of the major crises over the past several decades. He is a professional emergency response manager and consultant who has served as team leader for GEG, the Red Cross and several other organizations in a wide range of emergency response operations and consultancy projects in the Americas, Africa, Asia and Europe. He also serves a the volunteer President of Global Emergency Relief Recovery &amp; Reconstruction (GER3). Langdon completed his undergraduate work in Government and Foreign Affairs from the University of Virginia and received his Masters Degree from Harvard’s Kennedy School.</image:caption>

      <image:title>Our Team - Iain Logan - Director &amp; Co-Founder</image:title>
      <image:caption>Iain Logan started his emergency response career in 1990 when he was recruited into the Red Cross at the outbreak of the first Gulf War. Working with GEG and the International Federation of the Red Cross &amp; Red Crescent Societies (IFRC), he has led emergency response operations and consulting work in more than 50 countries responding to natural disasters and complex emergencies. He is an expert in emergency preparedness, response and recovery operations with deep experience in training facilitation. Raised and educated in East Africa, he is fluent in Swahili and also speaks French and Spanish. Iain holds a Diploma in Agriculture from the University of Edinburgh, School of Agriculture. He is a recipient of the prestigious Canadian Meritorious Service Medal (MSM) for actions in the 1994 Rwanda Conflict. It is with sincere sadness that we announce that Iain Logan passed away in March 2022. This is a massive loss to GEG and the humanitarian community. Iain was a true humanitarian, giving himself to others and leading during some of the most challenging circumstances imaginable. He was kind, humorous, and an extremely passionate advocate for people in need. He shared his knowledge and experience so that we could all serve better. The world was a better place with Iain here and we deeply mourn his departure.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Christina Catlett, M.D. is the GEG Chief Medical Officer (CMO) and an expert in emergency medicine and disaster response.  Christina is the founder and director of the Johns Hopkins Go Team (Hopkins’ deployable disaster medical team) and is a senior Medical Officer on Maryland’s federal Disaster Medical Assistance Team (MD-1 DMAT). Catlett has led disaster response teams for the 9/11 attack, the Haiti earthquake, the Taiwan waterpark explosion disaster, and Hurricanes Ivan, Katrina, Rita, Sandy, Harvey, and Florence. Christina is an Associate Professor of emergency medicine at The Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, Maryland. Christina received her undergraduate degree and M.D. from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill. Following her residency in emergency medicine at Johns Hopkins, she joined the faculty full time in 1998, where she has specialized in disaster and wilderness medicine. In 2001, Christina became the associate director of the Johns Hopkins Office of Critical Event Preparedness and Response (CEPAR), created in the wake of the terrorist attacks. She is currently serving as the Medical Director for Hopkins’ outreach efforts in Covid response, leading mass testing in hard-hit communities and in skilled nursing facilities.</image:caption>

      <image:caption>Pete is a Director of Field Operations, Security and training facilitator at GEG. He joined the team in July of 2022.  Pete served 36 years in the U.S. military and seven years as an International Safety and Security Advisor for USAID’s Bureau of Humanitarian Assistance. He has led organizations in size from 500 to 3,000 personnel in deployed environments.  Pete has worked in 30 countries in combat, training, and humanitarian operations. Pete’s first response for GER3 was as the Country Director for a Winterization Project in Ukraine. In addition to his work at GEG, Pete works with GEG’s sister organization Global Emergency Relief, Recovery &amp; Reconstruction as a Security Coordinator. Pete has a Bachelor of Science degree from the U.S. Naval Academy, a Master of Science in Management from St. Mary’s College in Leavenworth KS, and Master of Strategic Studies from the U.S. Army War College.</image:caption>
